Why it feels better
Writing, layout, template choice and export live inside one calm editing flow, so you finish faster without fighting the formatting.
Type, reorder sections and refine details while the A4 page updates as you go, page breaks included.
Corporate, creative, technical, ATS-safe and academic layouts, each designed for a different kind of application.
Set the accent colour, add or remove a photo and show only the sections that help your application.
Download a print-ready PDF with selectable text and clickable email, phone, LinkedIn and project links.
Move experience above education, add internships, courses, references or a custom section, and reorder by dragging.
Your draft is stored in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, and no account is ever required.
How it works
No tutorial, no template licence, no export credits. Three steps and you are done.
Start from a layout that matches your role, experience level and the country you are applying in.
Add experience, education, skills, projects, languages, certifications and any custom section you need.
Check the live preview, switch templates if you want a second look, then download the PDF.
Resume guide
Most applications are read twice: once by parsing software, once by a person with about seven seconds to spare. These are the choices that matter for both.
An applicant tracking system reads your resume as a stream of text. Single-column layouts with standard headings — Work Experience, Education, Skills — parse most reliably, which is why the ATS Friendly and Chronological templates keep decoration to a minimum. Sidebar designs still export real text, so use them when a human screens first: agencies, studios, startups and referrals.
Replace duties with outcomes. “Responsible for onboarding” becomes “Cut onboarding drop-off 34% by rebuilding the first-run flow”. Put the number first, then the action, then the scope. Three to five bullets per role is enough; older roles need one or two.
Parsers and recruiters both match on keywords. If the posting says “stakeholder management”, use that phrase rather than a synonym, and spell out acronyms once (“Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)”). Keep your skills section to genuine, current skills — padding it is easy to spot in an interview.
One page for students and early-career applicants, two once you have several relevant roles worth detail. Academic CVs and federal applications are the exception and run longer. Compact and Consulting are built for dense histories that must still fit one sheet.
Name, city and country, phone with country code, a professional email address and a LinkedIn URL. Add a portfolio or GitHub link if the work is public. A photo is expected across much of Europe and Asia and usually left off in the US, UK and Canada — check the local convention before you export.
PDF preserves your layout on every device and keeps the text selectable so parsers can read it. Never
submit a resume as an image, and name the file clearly —
firstname-lastname-resume.pdf — because that filename is what a recruiter sees in
their inbox.

FAQ
Yes. Every one of the 50 templates, all editor features and PDF export are free. There is no signup, no trial, no watermark and no paywall before download.
Templates in the ATS category — including ATS Friendly, Harvard Style, Chronological, Functional, Federal Style, Minimal and Compact — use a single readable text flow, standard section headings and no text inside images, so applicant tracking systems can parse them. Creative templates with sidebars still export real selectable text, but the plain layouts parse most reliably.
No account is needed. Your resume is stored locally in your own browser using localStorage, so nothing is uploaded to a server and you can come back later to keep editing on the same device.
For corporate and agency applications choose Professional, Modern or Executive. For roles screened by software choose an ATS template. Developers do well with Software Engineer, Impact or Terminal. Students and researchers should pick Graduate, Academic CV or Harvard Style. Designers can use Aurora, Vogue or Portfolio.
Yes. Your content is stored separately from the design, so you can switch between all 50 templates at any point and every section, date and bullet carries across instantly.
One page for early-career and most industry roles, two pages once you have several relevant roles to show, and longer only for academic CVs and federal applications. The editor shows page breaks live, and the Compact and Consulting templates are built to fit dense histories on a single page.
Yes. Email addresses, phone numbers, LinkedIn profiles, portfolio websites and project URLs stay as live clickable links in the exported PDF.
Yes, and many templates have a dedicated photo slot. Photos are common in Europe and much of Asia but are usually left off resumes in the US, UK and Canada, so check the convention for the country you are applying to.
